I would guess
that many of you are Basketball Fans and I wanted to let you know that in
recognition of November as Diabetes Awareness Month, Fairfield University's
game against Sacred Heart University at The Arena at Harbor Yard in
Bridgeport will be a Diabetes Awareness Game. The University
is providing us with tickets, face value $15, which we are selling for $5 and
100% of the profits will go to the
The University
started this game last year as a tribute to Bill Gonillo, Channel 12's Sports
Director who passed away last September at the age of 44 from complications of
diabetes. They have decided to make it an annual event.
The game begins
at 730pm. I have tickets for anyone who would like to purchase
them. It is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a great game and support
Diabetes Awareness Month and the
