Our
family is deeply saddened by the passing of cable television sportscaster Bill
Gonillo. He became a dear friend to our entire family. Gonillo's coverage of
sports always reflected his great character and his respect for others. Bill
was a consummate professional and a gentleman. He was fair to both the
professional athlete and, more important, the young impressionable high school
student. He earned the trust and friendship of everyone he met. Gonillo shared
many of our family's milestones, as a reporter and a friend. He will be missed.
